DYSLEXIA ASSOCIATION – BULGARIA (DABG)
The main aims of the Association are:
– to spread information about dyslexia /through publications, lectures, workshops, presentations, Internet, etc./;
– to teach teachers/tutors/trainers how to recognise the symptoms of dyslexia;
– to educate and support parents of dyslexic children;
– to work individually or in small groups with dyslexic children and young people, and help them to overcome their difficulties;
– to work towards forming a dyslexia friendly society that will enable all dyslexic people to reach their potential
Since its formation in 2005, DABG has taken part in many projects related to dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties, using assistive technologies in education, to bilingualism and foreign language learning.
Specialists in the Association, beside teacher/parents training, seminars, workshops, presentations, provide also individual intensive programs for children, young people, and adults with dyslexia from all over the country, being the only place in Bulgaria where such a help is provided.
CONFEDERACIÓN ESPAÑOLA DE CENTROS DE ENSEÑANZA
The Spanish Confederation of Education and Training Centers (CECE) is a non-profit employers´ and professional organization founded in 1977. It represents a wide educational sector in Spain from nursery school to university level. It has more than 2.000 Education and training centers among its members.
CECE institutional roles are: the management of updating for educational agreements; the negotiation of the collective agreements for this sector; the representation of this sector in the collegiate boards with educational participation; institutional presence in the Spanish Employers Organization (CEOE) and in some international organizations in which it takes an active role as well as the relationship and contacts with Education Public Authorities. CECE is member of the international organizations: EFVET (European Forum for Technical and Vocational Education and Training), ESHA (European School Headmaster Association) and ECNAIS (European Council of National Associations of Independent Schools).
CECE gives support to his members in 5 areas: (1) organization of LLL courses for teachers; (2) implementation of technological innovation in its members; (3) internationalization of the members; (4) Assistance in the implementation of the EFQM Excellence Model in its member institutions. (5) Legal consultancy for the member institutions.
CECE´s educational profile has widened with the constitution of its Foundation (Fundación Ángel Martínez Fuertes) in 1996 that centres its activities on social inclusion through training of unemployed persons, persons over 45, women, disabled persons, immigrants.
KOCAELI DIRECTORATE OF NATIONAL EDUCATION (KPDoNE)
Kocaeli is located at the eastern side of Marmara Region, in an important transition route that connects Asia to Europe. Being a natural port, İzmit Gulf is a busy seaway. As a result of the rapid industrialization, many people immigrated to Kocaeli. Today having various economic and social roles, the province constitutes an integral part of Istanbul Metropolitan area. Kocaeli is a well-known city with its large population and intense industrial activities but recently there have been serious developments in culture, arts and education.
Kocaeli Provincial Directorate of National Education embraces 12 district directorates and executes their activities to improve the quality of education and access the education in the region.
Kocaeli Provincial Directorate of National Education is a governmental organization in charge with the planning and coordination of all kinds of educational and training activities from pre-school, to secondary and adult education in Kocaeli Province. The Directorate is responsible with taking all required actions in the field of education to realize a real increase in the management and organizational capacity of this largest governmental body of the Kocaeli Province. In this context the Directorate supports school principals, teachers and other staff with variety of in-service training courses. Besides, it collaborates and co-operates with the other directorates and institutions in Kocaeli, in many National and International projects. Kocaeli Provincial Directorate of National Education has experience in Key Activity 2, Comenius Multilateral, Comenius Network, Leonardo Da Vinci VETPRO and Partnership Projects. 233 institutions under the directorate have been granted by EU funds in the previous five years. 57 projects of affiliated institutions are running at this term.

The European idea and intercultural learning are important elements of our education and training life. Therefore the Kocaeli Directorate of National Education gives special importance for planning and undertaking project activities. In this context, a project coordination unit was established within the directorate and started its activities in April 2009.The unit organizes seminars and training programs about project cycle management for all stakeholders from governmental, non-governmental, public and private institutions in Kocaeli, plays an important role in consultation and information providing about LLP, Horizon2020 and the calls of Central Finance and Contract Unit.
Kocaeli Provincial Directorate of Education is open and highly motivated for possible partnerships, in order to exploit new opportunities for collaborating with different institutions from different countries and develop project ideas that address social, educational, environmental and economic challenges.
EDUFOR TRANING CENTRE PORTUGAL
The EduFor Training Centre is associated with Nelas, Mangualde, Penalva do Castelo, Sátão and Vila Nova de Paiva Schools, all these municipalities are in Viseu district, Portugal. We are recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science (MEC) as a training entity registered under number the following CCPFC / ENT-AE-1225/14. We have developed a great experience in the organization, management and evaluation of training events covering various areas and forms of training in face-to-face as well as online, since 1993.
We are aware that education is a process of personal development and professional standing of teachers and educators and other educators, as a way to promote a change in behavior, attitudes methodologies and strategies that lead to improved teaching practices and the quality of education. Our courses are intended primarily for the integration of technology in the classroom context and Special Needs Education, offering a comprehensive educational response to prepare students for the 21st century workplace.
We have physical and human resources to create an innovative training experience, challenging participants to rethink methodologies, technology and innovation. We encourage good educational practices through participation in training courses and design and educational projects that integrate information and communication technologies in learning environments.
The Teacher Training Centre EduFor is located at Secondary School Felismina Alcantara, in Mangualde city, in Viseu district, Portugal. It is situated at approx. 90 minutes drive from the city of Porto, a 50 minute drive from the city of Coimbra and also 60 minutes drive from Serra da Estrela.
The Mangualde Schools Consortium holds a specialized unit support for Special Needs Education (SEN), for students with multiple disabilities and deaf congenital blindness, as well as the unit for structured teaching classrooms for students with the autism spectrum. It is also a reference school in early childhood intervention.
The association Educandoit, has recently been established by the staff working within the Comprehensive Institute Laura Lanza Baronessa di Carini , previously involved in the Grundtvig Forward Network, of which the Institute is the leader. The know-how acquired over many years of experience in training and education projects in the European Union under the LLP in partnership converges therefore in EDUCANDOIT. The aim is to promote, develop and coordinate, starting from the core of the surrounding territory education and training initiatives, relating in particular to young people and adults, in order to achieve human well-being and the sense of active citizenship in harmony with the principles of the Italian Constitution, the Bill of Rights of the Child, the Chart of Students, the European directives on basic competences, strategic objectives for training and education, taking care of all organizational aspects and management of such initiatives. Its team also operates in the field of Adult education promoting training and upgrading activities to improve job skills and foster job conversion, especially in the field of education.
Educandoit, moreover, cooperates with local authorities and other organizations born in the territory to suppress the institutional “gap” in training, civic education and assistance to disadvantaged groups promoting public awareness initiatives caring about the management of training events such as seminars, workshops, stage performances, cultural events, publishing training activities for the promotion and preservation of natural and cultural territory, initiatives of reading education, museum education, library science , promotion of cultural tourism in collaboration with associations and local authorities (Legambiente, City of Palermo, etc). In addition, members of the organization staff have been involved for years in the European Partnerships Comenius and Grundtvig for land conservation, enhancement of natural and cultural landscapes and for environmental education, education for active citizenship, education and training for young people and adults in disadvantaged socio-cultural conditions . Together with its collaborators, the Association has also sponsored different training initiatives and workshops in its area and in partnership with international organizations across Europe with the aim of promoting cultural and civic education, planning and managing resources, both human and financial ,has finally promoted collaborative paths with local institutions of its territory and neighboring dealing with their organization and management.
RHEI – Rezekne Higher Education Institution
Rezekne Higher Education Institution (RHEI) is a state founded higher education and science institution of the Republic of Latvia which implements the study programs as well as is engaged in scientific, research and artistic creative work.
The aim of RHEI is to provide academic and professional higher education in compliance with the science development level and cultural traditions of Latvia being competitive in the European education space; to develop culture, science and education in Latgale region and thus in the whole Latvia.
